Suicide is the second leading cause of death for ages 10-24 and has been increasing every year since 2007.
Children languishing in foster care has continued to increase for over 10 years.
34% of the homeless population is now under the age of 24.
Over 80,000 children are trafficked every year in Texas alone.
10 years ago childhood gender dysphoria was so rare almost no doctor ever saw it. Today it is accelerating at an alarming rate.
In the U.S. today 6.7 million children are being prescribed powerful psychotropic drugs, and according to the CDC childhood anxiety and depression continue to increase.

Shine USA is committed to resolving the crisis in this generation by reclaiming the foundations of our faith for children, youth and young adults. Our solutions are built on Jesus Christ and catalyze change in even the youngest hearts. We reach out to children, youth and their families through community-based programs and we reach into their hearts through genuine love and friendship. We also empower others to empower this generation. At Shine USA, our frontline strategy prioritizes at-risk children ages 0-24, but every child suffers from the crisis in this generation and every child benefits from solutions that make kids shine!
